Job Description :
Langara requires full-time ESL instructors for the Explore Program ─ July 3 to August 1, 2025. Explore is a five-week immersion program for French-speaking Canadian and permanent-resident students that includes English language instruction, afternoon workshops, educational field trips and recreational activities.
Instructors are responsible for delivering the course as described in the Explore Program overview. This includes preparing materials that fulfil the course objectives; planning lessons, assignments and educational outings that reflect the integrated skills nature of the curriculum, and giving on-going and final student evaluations. Instructors are required to attend teacher orientations, program forums, the Closing Ceremony, to participate in weekly staff meetings, and to assist with placement testing.
Instructors are hired for approximately 100 instructional hours for the program.

Compensation : $45 / hour including 4% vacation pay
