What you will do :

Holistic Pricing Management :

  • Comprehensive leadership of the analysis, file construction and pricing / product recommendations as answers to questions posed by Strategic Account Managers
  • Organizes and uploads pricing changes as required including customer contract additions and deletions.
  • Pricing Logic :

  • Developing new matrices to facilitate profitable growth within targeted vertical markets.
  • In collaboration with the DoS's, develop the necessary pricing stratification within specific customer verticals to reflect customer size.
  • Profit Maximization :

  • Analysis of customer consumption patterns to recognize opportunities for OB / PP growth.
  • Develop and maintain the necessary pricing deltas between named and own brand to drive OB product growth while maximizing profit.
  • Analyze customers consumption trends to identify opportunities for Ship & Debit exploration & implementation in pursuit of profitable sales growth.
  • Investigate opportunities with vendors to improve purchasing strategies to lower costing and drive profit.
  • Sales Generation :

  • Benchmarking customers purchasing patterns within verticals to identify product growth opportunities.
  • Identify products where the addition of a vendor funded rebate could drive sales while maximizing profitability
  • What you will bring :

  • Highly proficient in Excel, Tableau and data analysis
  • Experience working with AS400 / Syntax is a major asset
  • Knowledge of pricing tools / systems and pricing methodologies
  • Experience managing discussions / negotiations with vendors for improved costing
  • Ability to manage competing priorities from account managers and DOS's
  • Analytical mindset, critical thinker, problem solver
  • Familiarity with Plumbing & HVAC industry & vendors is an asset
