We have an opening for a Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have Certification in maintenance-related fields and previous experience in a maintenance role within manufacturing environment.
Major Areas of Responsibilities
- Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions.
- Perform regular maintenance and inspections on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
- Assist in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and air-filled systems to identify and resolve issue.
- Repair or replace defective machinery parts.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks according to the maintenance schedule.
- Maintain inventory for maintenance stock supplies.
- Support the installation and upgrading of manufacturing equipment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs of all performed tasks.
- Collaborate with production staff to ensure minimal disruption to manufacturing processes.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- Class G license preferred.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or certification in a related field (e.g., industrial / building maintenance)Certification in maintenance-related fields (e.g., HVAC, electrical)Basic knowledge of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and automation systems.Previous experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment is a plus.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.Physical ability to perform manual labour, including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.Millwright and / or Industrial Electrician Licence will be an asset.Ability to work independently.Occasional working at heights required.Strong communication skills in English, spoken and written.Working hours
Monday - Friday 7 : 00 am to 4 : 00 pm. Occasional overtime will be necessary as per business requirements.
