Running open-board Canada / U.S. long-haul. Assigned unit requires 24 days on the road per month and averaging 18,000-20,000 miles per month
- Southbound freight could depart into any of the lower 48 states
- Northbound freight could go into any of the Canadian Provinces and Territories
- On the road 7 to 14 days at a time on average, resets on the road as required
- Regional freight might be required
- Freight and destinations might vary
- Flexible schedule requiring weekend departures
Candidate Profile :
- Company Driver with tractor-trailer experience
- Must have a qualified team partner
- Both drivers must be eligible to drive in the U.S.
- Both drivers must hold a valid FAST card
- Both drivers must be able to drive in California, and U.S. Mountains 12 months of the year
- Both drivers must be able to drive Highway 17 in Ontario 12 months of the year
- B.C. Mountain experience is an asset
- Both drivers must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more
- Must have a valid Class 1 / AZ license
- Reliable, flexible, and punctual
- Strong communication skills
- Values safety
