About the Role : We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our clients transformative project aimed at implementing Maximo as the enterprise asset management solution.
This role involves working across multiple operations departments, including Rail Cars & Shops, Vehicles, Streetcar Warranty, Subway Infrastructure, and Streetcar Infrastructure, all of which are transitioning from legacy systems to standardized Maximo deployments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Conduct workshops to identify gaps and document current state processes.
- Develop future state business processes, functional specifications, and KPI dashboards.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects for option analysis and solution recommendations.
- Perform business case analysis and provide guidance on legacy data mapping and migration.
- Work with vendors and architects to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Coordinate and manage business analysis activities, assisting QA in creating test plans and performing testing.
- Create training materials and conduct user training sessions.
- Provide functional and application support during and after implementation.
- Ensure compliance with OHSA and health and safety policies.
Skills and Certifications :
- University degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Over 10 years of business consulting experience.
- Minimum of 5 years as a lead business / process analyst within enterprise asset management and / or maintenance operations.
- Significant experience with transit and / or large Maximo implementations.
- Expertise in process analysis, design, and modelling in complex environments.
- Strong influence without authority and ability to sell recommendations and solutions.
- Proficient in MS Office tools, with familiarity in KPI analysis and performance measurement.
- Experience with SQL queries in Oracle DB (an asset).
- Certifications such as PBA, CBAP (an asset).
- Public Service and Transit experience (an asset).
