Title - Project Coordinator - Operations

Key Responsibilities :

  • Interpret and apply relevant sections of the Project Agreement (PA) across assigned projects.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Manager and the Facilities Management (FM) provider to develop operational plans, policies, and procedures tailored to each site.
  • Assist the Senior Manager in managing relationships between company, clients, and consortia, and addressing any FM-related contractual concerns.
  • Monitor the FM provider’s performance to ensure that service targets and lifecycle (LC) obligations specified in the PA are met.
  • Participate in and lead meetings related to FM, utilities, and security committees.
  • Support the preparation and review of monthly performance reports as mandated by the PA.
  • Track and manage project variations and changes, ensuring alignment with the PA's requirements.
  • Ensure monthly reports comply with the PA's reporting standards and timelines.
  • Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure the timely submission of invoices.
  • Coordinate closely with other company's divisions, including Finance, Accounting, and Project Development, to ensure smooth project operations.

Qualifications :

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, facility operations, or commercial management within institutional facilities.
  • Familiarity with public-private partnership (P3) projects is a plus.
  • Preferred certifications include FMP, PMP, PPM, BOMA, CHES, or LEED.
  • Proven ability to support project management efforts and meet tight deadlines within a team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of building design standards, FM practices, and reporting processes.
  • Strong customer service focus, with excellent negotiation and diplomatic skills.
  • Sound business judgment and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Willingness to travel to various project sites across Canada.
