Job Title : Buyer Manufacturing (MultiPlant USA & Canada)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a detailoriented and strategic Buyer to manage procurement activities for multiple manufacturing plants across the USA and Canada. This role is responsible for sourcing raw materials components and supplies to support production while ensuring cost efficiency supplier quality and ontime delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills experience in multiplant procurement and a deep understanding of supply chain management in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Strategic Sourcing & Procurement : Identify evaluate and select suppliers for raw materials components and services across multiple North American plants.
• Supplier Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality cost savings and supply chain reliability.
• Cost Optimization : Negotiate pricing contracts and payment terms to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality and performance standards.
• Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination : Work closely with production planning and logistics teams to ensure the timely availability of materials while minimizing excess inventory.
• MultiPlant Purchasing Coordination : Develop standardized procurement processes across USA and Canada plants to drive efficiencies and cost reductions.
• Risk Management : Monitor supply chain risks assess market trends and implement contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
• Compliance & Documentation : Ensure all purchases comply with company policies quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Data Analysis & Reporting : Track key procurement metrics (cost savings supplier performance lead times) and provide reports to leadership for decisionmaking.
