Job descriptionBachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in quality management, with a proven track record in aerospace, defense, or high-tech manufacturing. ASQ Certification (CQM, CQE, CMQ / OE) AS9100 Lead Auditor Qualification Deep expertise in ISO 9001, AS9100, and regulatory compliance framework CF-18 or other aviation experience-Preferred Quality Training Instructor-Preferred Must be able to obtain Canadian Secret Security Clearance
Our client, a leader in the Aerospace and Defense Industry based out of Calgary, AB is looking for a Quality Manager for a full time position who will be responsible to lead and enhance their quality assurance and control processes.
Responsibilities :
- Develop, implement, and manage the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with industry standards such as ISO 9001 and AS9100
- Coordinate with Airworthiness authorities to ensure that technical airworthiness functions are performed in accordance with technical airworthiness requirements
- Lead internal and external audits, including supplier audits, and work with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of non-conformances.
- Work with stakeholders to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement
- Act as the primary point of contact for quality-related matters with customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
