Rate : $20 / hour
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to perform intermediate to advanced secretarial duties. This role supports multiple individuals and requires the ability to exercise judgement in handling complex and confidential tasks. The ideal candidate will be involved in managing employee records and will take on higher responsibilities related to the department budget.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform intermediate to advanced secretarial duties, including managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and preparing reports.
- Provide support to more than one person, ensuring efficient workflow and prioritization of tasks.
- Exercise judgement in handling complex and confidential work, maintaining discretion at all times.
- Manage and maintain accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Assist with the management of the department budget, including tracking expenses and preparing financial reports.
- Coordinate and organize departmental events and meetings, including logistics and materials preparation.
- Handle general office duties such as filing, ordering supplies, and maintaining office equipment.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing excellent customer service.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional qualifications as an Administrative Assistant or Secretary will be a plus.Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Experience in managing employee records and budget responsibilities is preferred.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
