Summary
The main function of an operations manager is ensuring that the different departments in the company follow through with the plans and devises he / she makes for the business's success.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with internal customers to understand and effectively drive and execute supply priorities across the supply base.
- Proactively track and report data for on-time delivery, D / S Coverage including risks to Demand Plan and schedule push-outs, etc.
- Support business requirements development, deployment, and ongoing enhancement of processes, tools, and systems to support multiple supply chains within the Infrastructure team.
- Work with IT system developers to spec, implement, and validate, new tools / systems.
- Prepare process workflows and associated documentation.
- Perform data analysis and drive processes optimization.
- Drive product success by keeping ourselves and others accountable for metrics such as quarterly financial variance, delivery performance, supply / demand coverage, etc.
Qualifications :
- BA / BS degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, related field or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain domain
- Experience in planning, purchasing, supply chain optimization and operational supplier management
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to present to various levels
Preferred Qualifications :
- MBA / Masters in a related field
- Experience in project management
- Understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain Management processes (demand, supply, warehousing, fulfillment, reverse logistics)
