Your new role
The open role is for an experienced Project Manager to join the team reporting to the Director of Construction. This individual will plan, direct and ensure the implementation of construction projects given to them.
They will consult with clients and stakeholders to determine the specifics of the project and ensure the quality of execution.
They will participate in site meetings of professionals, internal personnel and subcontractors and track project costs. They will be responsible for managing change orders and managing contractor's activity related to the progress of the work.
Finally, they will oversee a project coordinator and participate in bidding with the estimation team.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful Project Manager candidate will have at least 5 years of managing construction projects (ICI) in Ontario from start to finish.
They will have a Bachelors degree or diploma in engineering, architecture or civil and be proficient with MS Software and Procore.
The PM candidate will be an excellentmunicator and have a high attention to detail, including the ability to follow and control budgets and progressive invoicing.
LEED accreditation and the ability to speak both French and English would be considered an asset.
