Summary
We are looking for a Product Manager who will ensure our customers can leverage a new collaborative document management capability based on micro-services that will be integrated into many Thomson Reuters products, where users can store, comment on, and securely share documents.
Collaboration around documents is a core function for our end customers (e.g., Legal, Corporate, and Accounting professionals).
This role is on the Shared Capabilities Product Services team, which is responsible for providing transformative capabilities across the entire enterprise.

You will be a visible voice to champion the product and tell our story. You will develop and actively maintain a product backlog outlining the customer themes, epics, and stories while prioritizing the backlog to focus on the highest impact work for customers and stakeholders.
You will encourage the open exchange of information and viewpoints, as well as inspire others to achieve challenging goals and high standards of performance.
About the Role
Uses industry awareness to inform product strategy
Understand customer problem statements and experiences to be solved
Ensure user stories are ready and have correct acceptance criteria for product engineering to start work
Evangelizes the product vision to agile product engineering teams
Effectively leads agile team ceremonies with development and QA
Seeks to understand business and process
Shares information clearly and articulately via all mediums to all audiences
Demonstrates curiosity and an excellent capacity for learning; can recover from setbacks
Product ownership for the Shared Capability Product Services scrum teams and ownership of the product backlog.
Work with the Director of Product Management to ensure that the roadmap for the working quarter is well understood by the team and break the deliverables into epics and features for the backlog.
Ensure that the product backlog is up to date and prioritized with stories to keep the engineering team effective and fully occupied.
Collaborate with teams to provide product release updates and status to stakeholders at the end of every sprint.
Publish release notes according to the release cadence and communicate them to customers.
Share the responsibility of maintaining product-relevant documentation and publishing monthly updates with the product manager.
Building simple yet efficient workflows in synergy with the technology team as the customer’s voice leads to a fantastic customer experience.
History of partnering and collaborating with architects and engineers in writing clear user stories
About You
At least 2-5 years experience as a product owner or product manager on a technology product.
Mastery of agile models and scrum processes.
Strong track record of successful execution of complex initiatives; completing and continuously delivering on expectations that have been set.
Ability to communicate complex concepts in easy-to-understand terminology.
Know how to influence the technology team to deliver a great customer experience without authority.
At least 2 years experience working with Document Management, Content Management, or other related Technology. Bonus if you worked with a leading Content Services Platform.
Have worked either as an engineer or product owner on an enterprise platform product in the Document Management space or similar
Should possess an understanding of working with APIs / Services or enterprise-level software
BONUS : Understanding of cloud platforms AWS, Azure, and the services offered by these cloud platforms.
BONUS : Understand the difference between building software and enterprise-ready software .
BONUS : Have experience designing, developing, or implementing DMS or Content Services software / solutions
