Job Description :

We have an incredible opportunity for you to join the head office of this phenomenal global company and take ownership of this 17-month contract. With a May 2025 start date you will have plenty of time to take a long vacation beforehand knowing you have a lucrative contract lined up shortly. Working with a variety of corporate departments and mentoring a small team, you are experienced in the technical aspects of financial reporting for a publicly traded company with listings on multiple exchanges. This is an ideal time to transition from public practice or make an industry move to a downtown Vancouver location or a new industry.

The Mason Group is privileged to have been chosen to partner with our highly successful client to assist them in filling this role. Reporting to the Vice President, the primary scope of your responsibilities will include the monthly, quarterly & annual financial reporting for this publicly traded company including notes and assisting with the MD&A and filing. There are several special projects to add variety.

You are passionate about complex accounting and financial reporting and the challenges that make each day interesting.

You are a designated professional, ideally with experience in either a CPA public practice firm with publicly listed clients in both Canada and the US, or in a financial reporting role in industry with the same scope. Exceptional critical thinking skills, business acumen and polished communications round out your soft skills, and the delivery of excellence in all that you do is second nature to you.

You are humble yet confident in your abilities, and have enough relevant experience that you are comfortable working fairly independently while contributing to this top tier corporate team.

This is a great opportunity to add a resume building role and company that will take you far and open many doors in the future. Our client is offering a generous compensation package including salary, bonus, benefits and paid vacation. Please apply today if you would like to learn more.
