We are looking for an ambitious, dynamic, growth-oriented, and self-motivated individual who will help redefine the trajectory of this critical strategic objective for RONA.

Your role
- Assume responsibility for a specified portion of product assortments and groups in Lumber and Building Materials.
- Support the Merchandising teams and execute tasks to deliver on strategic objectives
- Help manage relationships and facilitate vendor interactions working closely with Merchants day to day vender relations
- Support data analysis to drive business through regular reporting and research identifying areas of opportunities in line with product and category strategies
- Analyze business trends and identify areas of opportunities
- Build and maintain strong understanding of the industry
- Partner for specific category tactics and execution
- Make product decisions for assigned product category groups if needed
- Assist in implementing GTM strategies and online promotional activities for PRO and installation services if needed
The qualifications we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree (BA, BCom) or similar
- Proven working experience (at least 2 years) in Online Merchandising or having been exposed to in a similar role including Digital Marketing, Merchandising, Category Management or CX functions (preferably in a Retail or eCommerce environment)
- Highly analytical including knowledge of analytical tools for performance measurement, interpretation of findings, determination of improvements and making recommendations to attain sales objectives and improve conversion
- Experience with Web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics) (preferred)
- Experience working with multiple vendors
- Skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Experience working with Jira is a plus
- Detail-oriented and ability to multitask effectively
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
