We are looking for a Deburrer for our facility in Oakville,Ontario.

JOB SUMMARY :

Responsible to grind and / or polish parts to remove burrs andgrinds parts as required by customer drawing requirements. TheDeburrer will visually inspect parts for burrs and imperfections, setup and use hand tools to remove burrs from machined parts andmaintain equipment and supplies as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Carefully remove any burrs left from CNC machining incomponents and sub-assemblies.
  • Use material handling equipment to carefully movecomponents from station to station.
  • Complete sub-assembly testing, cleaning and marking asrequired.
  • Interact closely with the Quality Control department tovalidate that all components produced are 100% inspecification.
  • Take immediate and appropriate action whenever adeviation or non-conformance is identified.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working as a deburrer or assembler in thenuclear, aerospace, or defense industries.
  • Strong aptitude to learn these new skills.
  • Highly dexterous with extreme attention to detail.
  • Adaptable team player with good communication andproblem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently to complete assignmentspromptly while maintaining the high standards required in ourindustry.
  • Certified forklift and crane training is an asset.

    • The hourly rate for this position in Onatrio at the start of employment is expected to be between $41,000 and $61,000 per hour. The rate offered is based on market location and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as a full range of medical, retirement, and / or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
