Raise Workforce has partnered with an Electrical Service provider that focuses on Lighting and Power Distribution for grocery stores and commercial offices. They are continuing to grow their business and in need of several Commercial Electricians to join their overnight crew.

You could be doing the following…
Service and maintain the electrical systems within the jobsites and provide assistance where neededRead and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installationsSplice, join and connect wire to fixtures and components to form circuits; pull wires through conduits and through holes in walls and floors; install brackets and hangers to support electrical equipment; install, replace, repair lighting fixtures and electrical control and distribution equipment, such as switches, relays and circuit breaker panelsAssemble, install, test and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures, using hand tools and power toolsInspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codeDiagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problemConnect electrical power to audio and visual communication equipment, signalling devices and heating and cooling systems; connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers or other componentsWork in a safe manner, maintaining a safe and organized work area by observing all safety policies and procedures, applying safety trainingWork collaboratively with other team members to achieve common project / site objectives. Exhibit positive and professional attitude and behaviour at all timesEmergency standby generator experience an asset.Responsible for materials, tools, and appropriate paperworkArrive on time and prepared to start work for scheduled shiftsParticipating in all Safety and Planning meetings as required to attend.Being an active participant in maintaining a safe work environment for yourself and othersWhy this is the right job for you…
Certification of Qualification 309A Construction and Maintenance Electrician.Valid MOL-Working At Heights and Aerial Work Platform (Scissor Lift) RequiredWHMIS 2015 and Workers Awareness in 4-Steps RequiredProficient in reading blueprints and other technical drawings.Commercial construction background with experience running EMT conduitsAbility to work independently as well as in a small teamExcellent verbal communication skills.Good interpersonal skills working in a fast-paced workplace with a sense of urgencyFlexibility to work Day or Night shifts depending on the site's accessibility
