Assist with the loading and unloading of residents and their belongings.  Ensure residents arrive safely at their destination and return home.  Adheres to all road safety regulations and speed limits Maintains daily bus log including mileage and other relevant information re : repairs, etc.   Ensuring the maintenance of the bus such as filling the gas tank and windshield washer fluid, checking tire pressure, checking the oil, and the cleanliness of the bus.  Ensure the Vehicle Operating Authority, Insurance, and Registration is always current.  Maintains inventory of all products utilized in vehicle maintenance. Assumes responsibility for the security of the bus; checks all locks, doors, and emergency exits regularly.  Operate in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act  Performs related duties as assigned  Candidate Profile  Must be willing and able to engage with residents, team members, family, and visitors in a respectful manner.  Understand changing priorities and maintain positivity throughout  Experience working with seniors in the community health services considered an asset  Organizational and time management skills.   Qualifications & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent. Class 4 License 1-2 years of experience as a driver. Must have effective verbal and written communication skills. Experience in customer service.
