Internationally Educated Nurse

Job Description

This program provides internationally educated nurses who are in the process of obtaining their license to practice in Ontario, an opportunity to complete the supervised practice requirement. The successful candidate will be paired with a preceptor who they will accompany based on a defined schedule. The preceptee (internationally educated nurse) will have the opportunity to complete various clinical and care-related tasks under the supervision of their preceptor. Upon completion of the required hours, the college of nurses will be notified of the progress which will move the preceptee to subsequent steps in the licensing process.

The ideal candidate would have received notification from the college of nurses of the requirement to complete their supervised practice hours.
