Job description

Randstad, is currently recruiting for a dispatcher position on behalf of one of our clients in Halifax NS. This is a permanent role which will start ASAP. The duties of the dispatcher are :

  • ensuring that all dispatched service requests are complete with all the information necessary as they are routed to a qualified technician to for service delivery
  • Provides telephone service to our customers
  • Registering and validating their service and install requests
  • Booking appointment in case the Customer requires it
  • Assign service requests to techs
  • Updating systems for Ticket and tech tracking and Tech resource management
  • Monitor and address alerts and escalations
  • Other duties as required

  • Responsibilities

    The basic function of the Dispatch is to ensure the smooth day to day operations of the Service Department by efficiently coordinating customer calls, third party suppliers and service technicians to meet and exceed customer expectations.

    Qualifications

  • must be able to analyze customer needs and take appropriate action to resolve customer issues in an efficient and timely manner.
  • previous experience in a dispatch role is required
  • tech savvy
  • customer service experience required
  • team Player
  • good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
