Job description

The Brand Manager will be responsible for the management and strategic development of key brands within our portfolio. This role includes defining marketing strategies, coordinating promotional activities, and tracking performance to increase brand awareness and market share. The ideal candidate is passionate about marketing, has a strong understanding of the food industry, and a deep knowledge of Canadian consumers.Key Responsibilities : Brand Strategy : Develop and execute brand strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives.Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to identify growth opportunities.Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels and marketing materials.Marketing Project Management : Plan and manage the launch of new products / product renovations, ensuring their market success.Design and implement advertising campaigns, promotions, and digital initiatives to strengthen consumer engagement.Collaborate with external agencies to develop creative content and effective campaigns.Analysis and Performance : Monitor brand performance (sales, market share, ROI of campaigns) and provide recommendations based on thorough analysis.Conduct competitive intelligence to stay ahead in the food industry.Use analytical tools and consumer studies to measure the effectiveness of marketing activities.Cross-Functional Collaboration : Manage and review demand analysis.Work closely with sales, R&D, production, and finance teams to ensure smooth project execution.Participate in client meetings during product launch windows.Develop packaging and ensure compliance with local regulations (including labeling requirements).Support sales teams with appropriate marketing tools and effective go-to-market strategies.Team Management and Company Culture Development : Manage & develop Assistant Brand Manager(s) and foster team growth.Actively contribute to the development of company culture.Job Requirements : Education : University degree in marketing, business administration, or related field.Work Experience : 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the food industry or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods).Required Skills : Expertise in brand management, marketing strategy, and product development.Strong data analysis skills and experience using tools such as Nielsen, Tableau, or Google Analytics.Proficiency in digital platforms and marketing trends.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of the cultural and linguistic specifics of the Quebec market.Assets : Experience in marketing dairy products.Bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken.Knowledge of Canadian food regulations (CFIA).
