Senior Business Analyst

The Ontario Government Client as a Senior Business Analyst for Corporate Applications, where you will play a key role in shaping the organization’s digital transformation. This role requires 7-10 years of experience in business analysis within enterprise software implementations, particularly in financial management systems, HR systems, or data analytics platforms. You will work closely with the Senior Product Manager, translating complex business requirements into actionable specifications while ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Additionally, you will support product management processes, agile methodologies, backlog management, and CI / CD practices to enhance efficiency. Your expertise in business process analysis, functional specifications, stakeholder collaboration, and RFP management will be essential in delivering high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

Business Requirements Analysis

Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes for FMS, HCMS, and Data Analytics Platform.

Translate complex business needs into clear product specifications and user stories.

Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.

Assist in evaluating and improving product management processes.

Identify and implement process optimizations for efficiency and scalability.

Support roadmap development and strategy execution.

Stakeholder Engagement and Dependency Management

Document and manage dependencies between product teams and organizational functions.

Facilitate communication with stakeholders and the PMO.

Analyze financial, customer, and product data to inform decisions.

Develop reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.

Release Planning and Coordination

Assist in release planning, backlog management, and feature prioritization.

Ensure smooth implementation of new product updates.

Market and Technology Trend Analysis

Research emerging trends and assess new technologies for innovation opportunities.

Provide insights to enhance corporate applications.

Required Skills

7-10 years of experience in business analysis within enterprise software implementations (FMS, HCMS, Data Analytics).

5+ years supporting product management, agile methodologies, backlog management, and CI / CD practices.

Expertise in business process analysis, functional specifications, and stakeholder collaboration.

Experience in RFP processes, including analysis, coordination, and submission.
