Job description

Role Description

This is a contract remote role for an Odoo Sr. Functional Consultant. As a Senior Odoo Techno-Functional Consultant / Architect , you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing Odoo ERP solutions for clients across various industries. You will work closely with stakeholders to analyze business requirements, customize Odoo modules, and ensure seamless integration with other systems. You will also provide guidance to junior consultants and collaborate with developers to enhance Odoo’s capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end Odoo ERP implementations , including requirements gathering, system design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Odoo’s technical and functional aspects.
  • Configure and customize Odoo modules (Sales, CRM, Inventory, Manufacturing, Accounting, Payroll, etc.) to meet client needs.
  • Develop and implement Odoo best practices for clients to maximize system efficiency.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior consultants and developers.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate Odoo with third-party applications .
  • Troubleshoot system issues and optimize Odoo performance.
  • Lead data migration activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct user training and provide ongoing support to clients.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Odoo implementation, customization, and development .
  • Strong expertise in Odoo framework, Python, PostgreSQL, and XML .
  • Deep understanding of Odoo modules and their interdependencies .
  • Experience with Odoo Studio, Odoo.sh, and API integrations .
  • Knowledge of Odoo security, workflows, and automation .
  • Strong functional expertise in business processes such as sales, accounting, procurement, inventory, Payroll, and manufacturing .
  • Hands-on experience with data migration, system upgrades, and performance tuning .
