In the role of Inside Sales Representative, you will work with our Mississauga team on incoming customer requests and reservations.
You will look to expand your portfolio by proactively approaching inactive customers and companies that TIP Group does not yet do business.
You will be responsible for incoming / outgoing sales calls (some virtually), preparing and presenting associated quotes, helping to build our customer base, as well as data input.
As an Inside Sales Representative you’ll be performing the following duties :
- Prospecting for new accounts via telemarketing calls, cold calling, and e-mails to expand account base.
- Conduct sales calls and meetings to understand customer requirements and present tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with our dedicated team to ensure seamless customer experiences from inquiry to service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in our CRM system.
- Profiling and updating customer information in Salesforce to manage account base.
- Developing and maintaining accounts to ensure that all customers have needs met in a thoughtful and timely manner.
- Encourage revenue from all possible sources and geographies (from current and new customer) including parts sales and service.
- Working with the branch team to manage and develop accounts to grow revenue.
To be successful you’ll need to have the following skills and abilities :
- 2 years of experience in inside sales or a similar customer-facing role.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of the transportation or equipment rental industry is a plus.
- Bilingual in French / English (asset).
