Job description

Great Events Catering is a leading catering company that provides exceptional culinary experiences for corporate events, weddings, and private parties. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Concession Manager / Driver to join our team. If you enjoy delivering excellent customer service, managing operations, and being on the move, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage all aspects of the concession stand or food truck operations, including setup, inventory management, food preparation, sales transactions, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, handling inquiries, and resolving any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and visually appealing concession stand or food truck at all times, upholding high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Monitor inventory levels, place orders for food, beverages, and supplies as needed, and maintain accurate records of sales and expenses.
  • Train and supervise concession staff, assigning duties and ensuring they are knowledgeable about products and service standards.
  • Perform routine checks and maintenance on the concession vehicle, ensuring its safe operation and reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with event organizers, venue staff, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations at various locations.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional culinary or food service certifications are a plus).
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience in food service, customer service, or a related field is an asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize effectively.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (e.g., food supplies).
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by event schedules.
