We have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Proposal Development Specialist to join our team in our Penticton office. If you have technical expertise in construction, craft professional and accurate proposals, and have a flair for document design and layout, this is the perfect role for you.
This is not a remote opportunity but there is the possibility of a hybrid work situation for the right candidate.

Key Contributions to the Business Development Team :
- Lead the development and writing of detailed, accurate proposal content that aligns with client requirements
- Create compelling and concise content for proposals, including an executive summary, company profile, and project and team portfolio
- Incorporate graphics and other design elements that enhance key messaging
- Review and edit drafts to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with requirements
- Create templates, reusable content / visuals for future use
Additional responsibilities include :
Collaborating with internal experts to develop strategic approaches to differentiate our businessCoordinating, facilitating, and / or supporting proposal pursuit and kick-off meetingsAssisting with Request for Proposal / Request for Qualification documents from clientsCoordinating with trade partners to gather the required documentationSupporting the Project Management team to facilitate a smooth handover once a project has been awardedSupporting additional activities within the Business Development teamRequirements :
Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, Technical Writing, or a related field or equivalent industry experienceyears experience in construction, project management, business development, or a similar role.years developing and producing construction proposals or similar documents requiring technical writing skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content and deliver presentations effectively.Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint and an aptitude for learning various computer applications.Experience with graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite or similar) an assetTactful, diplomatic with the ability to maintain confidentialityComfortable in a fast-paced, highly variable environment, and a willingness to take on a variety of dutiesAbility to utilize judgement and work with minimal supervisionAble to take the initiative to liaise with other departments and / or external sourcesSalary - $, to $, per year
