Job Description :
Our client, a prestigious property law firm in downtown Vancouver, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Administrator to join their team. This role focuses on managing collections, overseeing accounts receivable, and ensuring timely payments while minimizing financial risk. Additional responsibilities include financial reporting, bank reconciliations, and supporting the accounting team. The right candidate will be reporting to the Financial Controller.
The Catch : This role will be a hybrid role for the right candidate after probation.

What You’ll Do :
Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts via phone and emailCollect payments for outstanding invoices and retainersAddress client inquiries and provide account-related supportPrepare trust and accounts receivable reconciliationsCollaborate with lawyers to manage collections strategiesGenerate reports on collections and delinquent accountsPrepare and distribute monthly statementsAssist with compliance forms and general accounting supportProvide backup support for the Financial ControllerWhat You Bring :
Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (an asset)3–5 years of experience in collections / accounts receivable, preferably in a law firmStrong communication and client service skillsKnowledge of Law Society Rules and PST / GST / HST regulationsExperience with accounting software (PCLaw preferred)Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookAbility to work in a fast-paced environment
