Fuze HR is currently in search of a dynamic and driven Technical Sales Representative to promote Data Centre solutions within the construction sector in Eastern Canada on behalf of our client.
The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in sales and new business generation, with strong connections in the consultant engineering sector, particularly in Quebec and Ottawa
Key Responsibilities :
- Independently prospect and develop new business, maintaining a robust pipeline and actively driving opportunities to closure.
- Manage all aspects of the prospect evaluation process, ensuring a seamless transition from sales to service delivery.
- Promptly respond to customer needs, identify solutions, attend site visits / meetings, generate proposals, and close orders.
- Prepare technical specifications, submittal drawings, and review external specifications to identify opportunities for the client’s represented products and solutions.
- Lead Tender submissions, RFQs / RFPs in coordination with various teams.
- Follow up on new prospect inquiries, building and nurturing long-term customer relationships.
- Maintain a high level of service to existing and new customers, responding promptly to requests and introducing new products.
- Evangelize, train, develop, and mentor customers through participation in local tradeshows, events, and client presentations.
- Maintain sales reports, demonstrating alignment with business plans and objectives.
- Stay involved in turnkey projects, demonstrations, and customer-related projects to meet deadlines and budgets.
- Possess and maintain in-depth knowledge of company-represented product lines.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Principal.
- Observe ethical and professional conduct of business policies.
- Periodic travel outside the key region may be required.
Education / Experience :
- 5+ years of Sales Engineering experience in consulting engineering, construction, and the data center industry.
- Strong relationships with consulting engineering firms, contractors, and end-users.
- BSc in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering or equivalent engineering degree, or RCDD.
- Professional Engineering designation.
- Familiarity with high availability facilities, Mechanical and Electrical Distribution design, and operations.
- Familiarity with data center design best practices and relevant standards.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe, AutoCAD.
- Ability to comprehend various schematic drawings and documentation.
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel within Canada and periodically to the United States.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Fluency in French and English.

Compensation :
- Base Salary : $110,000 to $130,000
- Bonus : Varies based on performance and overall contribution to the company’s success.
