Car Wash ManagerMaintenance Technician

Our client Mission Superwash Inc. is a wellestablished business that has been serving the Kelowna community with touchless and selfserve car wash options for over 20 years. With the upcoming retirement of their current manager they are seeking a Car Wash Manager with equipment maintenance experience to lead and contribute to the success of their team. This role offers flexibility and can be filled on either a parttime or fulltime basis with the schedule tailored to the availability of the successful candidate.

As the successful candidate you will oversee all daily operations maintain equipment hire and train great people and ensure that they are well supported and provide exceptional customer service. Your strong electrical and mechanical aptitude will contribute to your ability to step in and keep things running smoothly. As a proven people leader you will take ownership of the business and lead the way in creating a strong team culture and an appreciative work environment.

A day in the life of this position will include operating the car wash while providing strong customer service managing cash troubleshooting mechanical challenges performing human resources tasks such as recruitment of new team members and retention efforts for existing team members. This position provides a great combination of duties split evenly between handson work (mechanical / electrical / working with tools) and customer service. Your ability to work alone and multitask throughout the day will lead to success in this role.

This position is based in Kelowna BC and may be a perfect opportunity for someone who is semiretired or looking for a balanced lifestyle. We anticipate offering an hourly rate of $28 plus a performance bonus of approximately $4000 per year.

Additional responsibilities include :

• Maintain clean wellfunctioning facilities and equipment to ensure consistent mechanical performance and optimal operating conditions;
• Oversee and complete all daily operational activities;
• Manage employee scheduling to ensure optimal coverage and profitability;
• Direct and supervise employee tasks;
• Manage sales inventory maintenance cleaning and site inspections;
• Provide employees with support and leadership;
• Foster a positive environment by proactively addressing claims and concerns and maintaining strong relationships within the team and with customers;
• Ensure team safety and asset protection by identifying addressing and mitigating risks;
• Manage all aspects of health & safety to ensure compliance with provincial legislation and maintain a strong safety culture;
• Completes other duties as required.
