We are looking to fill this position for our Brantford, ON that services Southwestern ON.

Are you a licenced Millwright looking for a rewarding career opportunity? ACi Industrial is seeking dedicated and experienced Millwrights to join our dynamic team, with a focus on Industrial Agricultural Projects.

This is a full-time position with immediate start availability. (This position is an on-site in-person only position, with no remote work option.)

Key Responsibilities :

• Construction and Service : Strong record of on-site construction and service capability.
• Mechanical Expertise : Solid understanding of mechanical material handling equipment.
• Blueprint Interpretation : Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications.
• Welding Oversight : Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using various welding processes (GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, PAW, SMAW, OAW).
• Fabrication : Assemble, fit, and weld metal sections and plates to create complete projects.
• Quality Control : Monitor the quality of on-site fabrication and production.
• Safety Compliance : Always maintain safe work practices and compliance with company and regulatory safety standards.
• On-Site Repairs : Conduct on-site repairs, modifications, and retrofits.
• Customer Coordination : Effectively communicate with customers to determine solutions for on-site mechanical issues.
• Technology and Compliance : Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology, compliance, and repair techniques.
• Additional Duties : Perform other tasks as assigned to support project completion.

What We're Looking For :

• Certification / Training : Millwright certification required.
• Additional Credentials : Interprovincial Red Seal Millwright or CWB tickets would be an asset.
• Additional Certification / Training : Working at Heights, Elevated Work Platforms, WHMIS, or willingness and ability to acquire.
• Welding Experience : Experience as a Journeyman Welder / Fitter
• Maintenance Operations : Experience with routine maintenance operations.
• Technical Skills : Strong mechanical, welding, and fabrication skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Security Clearance : Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance.
• Flexibility : Willingness to travel as required for various projects.
• Driver’s Licence : A valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
• Skills : Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, effective communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work well under pressure.
• People Skills : Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication both verbally and in writing.
• Computer Literacy : Basic computer skills; ability to use industry specific apps (CrewTracks).

Work Conditions :

• Working Environment : Frequently noisy working environment with potential hazards associated with the trade.
• Work Locations : Work both indoors and outdoors; industrial and agricultural construction sites.
• Physical Requirements : Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs.
• Travel : Travel to job site locations as work requires.
• Manual Dexterity : Manual dexterity required to use power and hand tools.
• Shift Coverage : Possible shift coverage work.

Wage : $30.00 - $45.00 per hour (based on experience); with overtime opportunities available.

Job Type : Full-time

Ability to Commute / Relocate : Reliably commute or plan to relocate to Brantford ON area before starting work (required).

Experience :

• Millwright : 1 years (preferred)
• Welding : 1 year (preferred)

Work Location : On-site, various locations, in person.
