Responsibilities
- Building out requirements and collaborating on design and testing efforts to implement a new Point of Sale system with the Unified Commerce Platform
- Collaborating between internal and external development teams to complete data-mapping exercises for system integrations that enable message schemas to be built out.
This is a critical exercise that will see you working closely across development teams and business requirements.
- Ensuring solution design meets acceptance criteria
- Obtaining alignment between development teams on required data-mapping between 50 system integrations
- Developing swim lane diagrams for system integration flows related to omnichannel order management
- Documenting requirements in user story format
- Completing technical documentation to support integration development
- Working with an established Agile team including business analysts and a team of QA. By contributing to successful sprint objectives, clarifying questions, and providing documentation to support completion of development and test phases
- Translating business requirements into detailed and actionable specifications
- Creating understandable visual representations to communicate complex concepts and models for various target audiences
Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future :
- Documenting detailed user stories, process flows, system flows, and acceptance criteria that will be used for business process review, solution & technical architecture, and quality assurance
- Identifying and documenting business process, changes, and improvements
- Facilitating and managing stakeholder engagement
- Maintaining process and system documentation as business and systems evolve
- Developing, updating, and embedding your extensive expertise on business areas & technologies in scope within the Business Analysts chapter and the agile squads
Qualifications
- You have a Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary education in business, information systems or a relevant field, completion of a recognized Business Analysis program, and / or equivalent business experience
- You have 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, working on agile projects related to e-commerce, retail & omni-channel
- You have experience with working in an Agile methodology
- You have experience with API development / microservices
- You have experience working Google Pub / Sub or SAP integrations
- You have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of stakeholders to be able to explain, articulate, and document concepts, business processes, systems and business requirements efficiently
- You possess a high level of analytical and critical thinking
- You are a strong troubleshooting skills
- You have experience using JIRA
- You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- You are able to balance autonomy and collaboration
- You seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
- You have experience with working in the (Outdoor) Apparel or Retail industry
