Job description

Job Title : Systems EngineerKey Responsibilities : We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team. This role will focus on maintaining and administering our company’s and client’s computer networks. As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and ensuring the optimal performance of our infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems. Your responsibilities will include maintaining computing environments, performing disaster recovery, protecting against security threats, and troubleshooting issues. You will also work closely with network users to resolve problems and prevent potential system issues.Key Duties : Strong hands-on experience in End-User computing deployment, management, and support, including systems like Windows, Linux, and Apple (iOS / macOS) devices.Proficient in managing and troubleshooting complex environments involving Windows Server, Linux, Azure, M365, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams.Maintain and administer computer networks and related environments (including software, applications, and hardware configurations).In-depth knowledge of Active Directory infrastructure, DNS, DHCP, IAS, Clustering services, Windows / Linux Security, and deployment services.Implement and configure Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Meraki firewalls, switches, and access points.Provide escalated support for virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere / ESXi, Hyper-V, and Citrix.Troubleshoot and manage Microsoft Exchange and SAN storage technology.Technical support for WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and VPN / Terminal Services solutions.Act as an escalation point for backup and disaster recovery technologies like Veeam Backup and Replication.Monitor and respond to alerts in remote monitoring and management systems, managing system updates and responding to service tickets.Document systems infrastructure and communicate incident progress to customers.Support IT projects and assist in operational tasks when needed.Participate in an on-call rotation, ensuring availability outside of business hours at least one week every month.Required Skills and Qualifications : Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Azure & Office 365 backend administration, including Microsoft Exchange products.Extensive knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure, Office 365, ADFS, WAP Server, and Azure Active Directory Connect.Proficient in managing Microsoft Windows and Linux servers, and related services.Professional certifications, such as : Microsoft MCP, MCSA, MCSE, Citrix CCEA / CCIA, Fortinet NSE, Cisco CCNA, VMware VCP, RHCSA, CISSP.Experience with Endpoint Manager, M365, AD, OneDrive, SCCM, Intune, Autopilot.Hands-on experience installing and configuring servers, storage, network switches, firewalls, and mobile device management systems.Experience with collaboration platforms like M365, SharePoint, Teams, and Yammer.Strong technical diagnosis and troubleshooting skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including customer care and active listening.Ability to multitask, adapt to change, and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the IT industry, showing a record of progressive responsibility and achievement in large-scale environments.Additional Information : Hybrid work environment with the expectation of being in the office one day per week.Permanent position with an on-call rotation (required outside of normal business hours, at least one week per month).This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing environment where you can apply and further develop your technical skills.
