Join our dedication to innovation.Prollenium provides competitive compensation, benefits, and development opportunities.Introduction The Process Technologist is a member of the Manufacturing team who will drive improvement of the overall manufacturing processes. You will assist to develop and plan the processes and machinery required to manufacture new products from raw materials. You will also assist to evaluate existing processes and configure manufacturing systems to reduce cost, improve sustainability and develop best practices within the production process throughout the lifetime of the product. You will work with chemical and biochemical processes in which raw materials undergo change and will help in scale up processes from the laboratory into production.Role Activities and Responsibilities Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while evaluating and improving processes, including : production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs, changeovers etc.Develop validation protocols for manufacturing process and execute them with team membersWork with R&D and manufacturing to develop a cost-effective and working production process.Collect, record, analyze and transcribe data and prepare corresponding reportsProvide suggestions during incident investigations and advise on corrective actions.Project Management-ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.Assist in Research and purchase new manufacturing technology.Assist in Design, install and commission new production units, monitoring modifications and upgrades, and troubleshooting existing processesSupporting the conversion of small-scale processes into commercially viable large-scale operations; Make observations and take measurements directly, as well as collect and interpret data from the other technical and operating staff Ensuring that all aspects of an operation or process meet specified regulationsWork closely with other departments to ensure smooth process implementationOther duties as required.Desirable Skills and Experience University bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or other engineering discipline. Preferably with OACETT designation of CET or PEng.3+ years’ experience working in an ISO and GMP certified manufacturing organization; and 1+ years as a process engineer, with proven track record of improving manufacturing efficiency, reducing production costs and improving the product quality. Familiar with Design of Experiments (DOE), and other engineering tools for problem solving.Familiar with Statistical Process Controls (SPC) and other statistical tools such as ANOVA, Regression analysis, Linear Correlation, Paired test among othersFamiliar with Instrumentations and controls.
