The Manitoba Islamic Association is currently seeking all qualified applicants to apply for the 2 week term position as Winter Camp Counsellor.
Role and Responsibilities
- Ensure safety of children at all times and carry out safety procedures
- Supervise children at all times
- Greet children in the morning / Supervise children at end of day for pick up
- Carry out all programming aspects, in addition to independent programming tasks
- Prepare snacks for children, using safe food handling practices
- Must be able to work from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday
- Ability to get to and from work, located at 2445 Waverley St.
- Respect children, staff, and dress-code
- Set a positive example for children, including Islamic values and practices
- Must follow all policies and procedures including MIA’s privacy policy.
