Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION

AAA Canada is looking for a Quality Inspector to join our team.

Your role will be pivotal in a team where every member's contribution drives us forward and leads to our collective success.

Responsibilities

  • A demonstrated ability / proficiency and knowledge of the following :
  • Perform in-process and final inspection of structural assemblies.
  • Audit Company systems as they relate to quality assurance.
  • Able to assist in training, directing and supervising junior Employees.
  • Perform calibration of measuring and processing equipment.
  • Perform inspection duties to ensure all products, processes and services comply with applicable airworthiness, Company or customer quality requirements.
  • Provide assistance in quality review of Engineering Masters.
  • Knowledge of process specifications and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, perform measurement / testing of products, tools and processes and record results.
  • Perform in-process and final inspection of detail parts and minor assemblies.
  • Prepare all paper records and certificates.
  • Able to work safely and efficiently with a minimum supervision.
  • Maintain a clean work area and alerting their supervisor of any safety concerns.
  • Any other work assigned.

Skills and qualifications

  • You have at least a vocational diploma in aeronautical engineering or equivalent;
  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years' experience in the quality field;
  • Mastery of inspection techniques;
  • Very good knowledge of aeronautical technical specifications;
  • Required experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
