mdf commerce Inc is an international team of approximately 650 experts who develop a broad set of SaaS solutions to optimize and accelerate commercial interactions of its B2B and B2G customers.

We are currently looking for a Communications Advisor to join our team.

What will your main responsibilities look like?

  • Provide communication support in corporate communications and internal communications to the different business lines.
  • Provide communications support to the HR teams to mobilize and motivate employees, as well as to develop and implement employer brand and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement a communication yearly calendar.
  • Contribute to the promotion of different brands in collaboration with marketing teams from different business lines.
  • Manage and prepare communication metrics and reports.
  • Support the implementation of the corporate communications strategy, including special projects such as employee newsletters, intranet updates, etc.
  • Effectively manage the logistics of company events (monthly and annual employee meetings, etc.).
  • Participate in various committees, including OQLF.
  • Manage and monitor the company’s social media accounts.

What elements of your professional background will be necessary and useful in this role?

  • Exceptional writing skills to develop communication materials that have an impact on internal and external audiences.
  • Demonstrated innovation and creativity in developing and executing communication plans.
  • Self-starter with high energy focused on delivering with excellence.
  • Ability to organize time, manage priorities and follow up on multiple projects.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work under tight timelines and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Impeccable French and English language skills, both oral and written, due to frequent interactions with English and French-speaking internal and external colleagues and partners across Canada and the United States.
  • Minimum 5 years as a generalist in external and internal communication.
  • Proven track record as a communications professional in the areas of project management, development and implementation of communication strategies.
  • Experience in supporting successful transformation initiatives within a business and across multiple businesses.
