This confidential client of Hays is in the market for a Chief Electrical Estimator. Their team consists of dedicated project managers and dozens of electricians, all focused on delivering the best results for clients. They emphasize building strong relationships and maintaining open communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Your new role
We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Electrical Estimator with over 10 years of experience and exposure to design / build projects. We are looking for someone who excels at analyzing project requirements, preparing accurate cost estimates, and managing projects from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Estimate Costs : Use drawings and specifications to calculate the cost of electrical projects.
- Plan and Schedule : Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Manage Risks : Identify and mitigate risks to ensure safety and quality.
- Communicate : Maintain clear communication with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Manage Resources : Allocate resources such as equipment, materials, and workforce.
- Manage Subcontractors : Collaborate with and oversee the work of subcontractors.
- Manage Changes : Address any changes to the project scope or schedule.
- Inspect : Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets standards.
- Document : Maintain accurate records of the project, including plans, permits, and contracts.
What you'll need to succeed
