Job Description
- Ensure all staff on the floor are meeting and exceeding Rimrock standards of guest satisfaction and service
- Provide leadership, problem solving, and decision making in all areas of daily operations
- Provide ongoing training, motivating, and supervision of staff
- Handle guest requests and complaints and authorize compensation when necessary
- Provide floor support when business levels require including seating guests, expediting food, preparing and serving beverages, conducting quality checks etc.
- Work to achieve sales projections
- Assist in creating work schedules within budget
- Participate in menu and function planning
- Attend weekly F&B department manager meetings
- Complete office duties
- Provide employee discipline when necessary and complete required documentation
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in an a la carte restaurant or loungePost-secondary education in hospitality / tourism in an assetAlberta ProServe certificationComfortable using MS Office, POS, and table-booking softwareKnowledgeable in a variety of cocktails, liquor, wine, and beerStrong communication and interpersonal skillsVisa Requirements : Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
