We are excited to offer a full-time opportunity for a Trailer Mechanic at our Dartmouth location. If youre a motivated apprentice or junior mechanic ready to develop your skills in repairing and maintaining large commercial trailers, wed love to hear from you!
This role is physically demanding and requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair trailer components, including mechanical, brakes, bearings, suspensions, electrical systems, and hitch installations.
- Inspect and test mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions.
- Perform adjustments to ensure systems meet manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct scheduled maintenance services.
- Complete detailed reports documenting issues and repair work.
- Collaborate with the Service Advisor to review work orders and clarify tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
