Pleasant Office.Position SummaryAs a Junior Interior Designer, you will work closely with the project lead to assist in the development and execution of design projects from concept to completion. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience as a designer and seeking to grow their career in a collaborative, dynamic environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDraft detailed plans from initial schematic design through to construction documentation using design software and working with the team lead (AutoCAD or Vectorworks).Prepare materials, mood boards, and presentations.Assist in conceptual 3D modelling using design software (AutoCAD or Vectorworks, SketchUp, etc.).Maintain project documentation and assist in preparing specifications.Support the team with site visits and project management tasks as needed.Material library organization as they key contact for architectural sales representatives.Coordinate with vendors and architectural sales representatives to source materials with appropriate budget and lead times.Research materials, furniture, and fixtures to ensure design solutions are practical and aesthetically pleasing.Draft FF&E furniture plans and coding ready for coordination.Who You AreYou are an organizational powerhouse, driven by details and fueled by a love of solving challenges.
