Job descriptionDEP in CNC programming or equivalent; 3 to 5 years of experience in CNC programming; Proficient with Mastercam; Experience with Mastercam CNC programming in a machine shop environment; Experience in creating CNC programs from Solidworks drawings and models; Experience with multi-axis CNC programs (3, 4, 5 axes) and CNC lathes; Able to read and interpret technical drawings and detect errors; Able to verify conformity of product dimensions to specifications using precision measuring instruments; Knowledge of most materials such as aluminum, brass and stainless steel. - CNC programming to control automated machine tools;
- Interpret manufacturing specifications and technical drawings;
- Selectf tools, materials and cutting parameters;
- Optimize programs to maximize production efficiency;
- Simulation and verification of programs before execution;
- Troubleshoot and solve problem during machining;
- Create work instructions and routings;
- Document programs, tool settings and manufacturing procedures.
