Notre client est une entreprise en pleine croissance spécialisée dans la construction de bâtiments. Il est actuellement à la recherche d’un chargé de projet sénior pour des projets d’envergure dans les secteurs institutionnel et commercial à Montréal.

Responsabilités :

  • Participer à l’amélioration continue de l’entreprise
  • Gérer toutes les activités liées au mandat, en veillant à ce que les objectifs financiers et les délais fixés par la direction soient respectés
  • Effectuer l’état mensuel des projets, soumettre des rapports de suivi et informer la direction de toute déviation qui pourrait mettre en péril les objectifs fixés
  • Veiller à la bonne exécution du processus de réalisation en se référant au manuel des pratiques
  • Superviser les ressources affectées à la réalisation du mandat
  • Analyser tous les documents de projets, plans et devis, échéanciers, etc.
  • Assister le département d’estimation dans la négociation des contrats et / ou des ordres de changement avec les sous-traitants
  • Attribuer des contrats et / ou des bons de commande en rapport avec le mandat
  • Présider les réunions de chantier et rédiger les procès-verbaux
  • Recevoir les rapports d’avancement des S / T, préparer les demandes de paiement et les transmettre aux professionnels pour approbation sur une base mensuelle
  • Initier, coordonner et approuver les ordres de changement et les directives de chantier avant de les transmettre aux professionnels
  • Recevoir, analyser et codifier toutes les factures et mettre à jour le rapport d’analyse des coûts tout au long du projet sur une base mensuelle
  • Recevoir et codifier les feuilles de temps du chantier et les transmettre à la comptabilité sur une base hebdomadaire
  • Planifier et contrôler les travaux et les déficiences
  • Coordonner la remise des locaux au propriétaire, la remise des clés et des matériaux de remplacement, obtenir le certificat d’achèvement et collecter les retenues contractuelles

Qualifications :

  • BAC en génie de la construction ou expérience équivalente
  • 8+ années d’expérience dans les projets publics, commerciaux et institutionnels
  • Maîtrise des logiciels MS Office (Ms Project, Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellente connaissance du français écrit et parlé (bilinguisme un atout)
  • Aptitude à résoudre les problèmes et les conflits
  • Sens des responsabilités et des priorités et organisation
  • Excellente capacité de leadership proactif
  • Excellentes compétences en matière de gestion d’équipe
  • Capacité à travailler rapidement sous pression
  • Axé sur le client

Our client is a fast-growing company specializing in building construction. They are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager for large-scale projects in the institutional and commercial sectors on the Montreal area.

Responsibilities :

  • Participate in the continuous improvement of the company
  • Manage all activities related to the mandate, ensuring that financial targets and deadlines set by management are met
  • Carry out the monthly status of projects, submit follow-up reports and inform management of any deviations that could jeopardize set objectives
  • Ensure that the implementation process is carried out correctly, with reference to the practices manual
  • Supervise the resources assigned to carry out the mandate
  • Analyze all project documents, plans and specifications, schedules, etc.
  • Assist the estimating department in negotiating contracts and / or change orders with subcontractors
  • Award contracts and / or purchase orders related to the mandate
  • Chair site meetings and draft minutes
  • Receive S / T progress reports, prepare payment requests and forward to professionals for approval on a monthly basis

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction engineering or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years’ experience in public, commercial and institutional projects
  • Proficiency in MS Office software (Ms Project, Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken French (bilingualism an asset)
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Sense of responsibility, prioritization and organization
  • Excellent proactive leadership skills
  • Excellent team management skills
  • Ability to work quickly under pressure
