Position Summary :
We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Enterprise Data Architect (MDM) to spearhead our organization's data transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will design and implement enterprise data architecture that bridges our legacy systems with modern cloud-based platforms including Azure, AWS, Workday, and Salesforce. This role is critical in our transition from on-premises infrastructure to cloud solutions, with primary focus on MDM strategy implementation (Master Data Management and Meta Data Management), data integration, data management, ETL architecture, and data modeling. You will be the technical authority ensuring data quality and integrity during system migrations while establishing architectural patterns that support future business growth and regulatory compliance, and to lead the transition from an integration perspective.
Role and Responsibilities :
Enterprise Data Architecture and Modeling
- Design and maintain hybrid (cloud / on-prem) enterprise data architecture
- Create cloud-native data models optimized for platforms like Azure, AWS, Workday and Salesforce
- Develop logical and physical data models that enhance reporting and ETL structures
- Design data structures supporting real-time and batch processing needs
- Establish data modeling standards for both traditional and cloud-native architectures
- Create and maintain data dictionaries and metadata repositories
Cloud Migration and Integration Architecture
Architect cloud migration strategies for data systemsDesign hybrid cloud integration patternsDevelop API-first data architecture approachesImplementation of complex API integration and data integration mechanismsCreate specifications for complex API-to-database integrationsDesign event-driven architectures for real-time data processingDevelop integration patterns between cloud servicesEnsure data consistency across hybrid environmentsDesign fault-tolerant and scalable integration patternsData Discovery and Migration Planning

Bachelor's / master's degree in computer science, Health Informatics, Information Systems, or related fieldAt least 6 years of data architect and enterprise architect experience as well as several years of development experience in app design or database management or data developmentStrong experience with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS) and SaaS integration (Workday / Salesforce)Expert-level knowledge of SQL : complex query concepts, OLAP queries, etc.Experience designing and implementing cloud migration strategiesKnowledge of data architecture, ETL architecture, data modelling conceptsExperience working closely with business stakeholders to identify needs and opportunitiesStrong verbal and written communication skillsSelf-motivated with ability to work independentlyKnowledge of SQL Server, Azure SQL Managed Instance, and PostgreSQLPreferred Qualifications :
