About the Role
As a member of the Corporate Cyber Security & IT Compliance team, the Student IT Compliance will support the IT Compliance function in overseeing and executing the global SOX, IT Compliance and Privacy program.
Duties will be the daily implementation of Corporate SOX, IT compliance and Privacy program across our portfolio companies, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting successful execution of IT compliance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in testing the effectiveness of IT General Controls and IT Application Controls.
- Support the delivery of IT compliance assessments.
- Support the execution of privacy assessments.
- Conduct interviews and document meeting minutes.
- Support day-to-day operations of GRC tool maintenance.
- Support enhancements to GRC system by gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Ensure that policies posted on corporate websites are up-to-date.
- Other Compliance activities as the need may be.
Knowledge Required
- Working towards a degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Note : Offices continue to be central to collaboration and Brookfield’s identity. This position requires the employee to be on-site for a minimum of 4 days to perform most effectively.
