Kamik is seeking a Production and Warehouse Manager to join our dynamic team at the St-Laurent sewing manufacturing and warehouse center.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead the sewing / knitting and warehouse teams by providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
  • Ensure the daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs meet or exceed objectives, and corrective actions are taken when needed.
  • Develop and implement production schedules based on demand forecasts and capacity.
  • Monitor production and warehousing processes and adjust schedules as needed to account for delays or changes in demand.
  • Ensure the accuracy of the inventory.
  • Ensure that all products meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies by conducting regular safety audits and training.
  • Identify and resolve production issues, including equipment malfunctions and workflow inefficiencies.
  • Maintain accurate records of production and warehousing activities, including outputs, quality measurements, and staff performance.
  • Prepare reports for management on production efficiency and issues.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Be able and willing to create a culture of continuous improvements by everybody every day.
  • Maintain effective communication channels with other departments such as engineering, injection, quality, maintenance, and logistics to facilitate smooth production processes.

The role involves a mix of office and production floor tasks : approximately 50% in the office and 50% in the production workshops and warehouses.

Required Education and Skills :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
  • Proven experience of 5 years or more in a supervisory / management role in a manufacturing and / or warehouse environment.
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing is required. Certification Black Belt LSS from a recognized institution is an asset.
  • Experience in sewing operation (an asset).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Advanced knowledge and experience in Excel are required.
  • Bilingual (French and English) – written and spoken.
