We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development & Sales Representative to join our design-build firm. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the design-build industry, a passion for sales, and the ability to develop strategic partnerships that align with our company’s vision.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Develop and execute strategies to generate leads and expand our client base.
- Research industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify potential projects.
- Build and maintain relationships with developers, architects, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for prospective and existing clients, ensuring a seamless sales experience.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and site visits to understand project needs and align our services accordingly.
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring terms align with both client expectations and company goals.
- Foster long-term partnerships by maintaining regular communication and providing ongoing support.
- Work closely with internal teams, including design and construction, to ensure smooth project handovers.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted campaigns and sales materials.
- Attend industry events, networking functions, and trade shows to promote the company and generate new business.
- Track sales performance, pipeline progress, and revenue forecasts, providing regular reports to leadership.
Qualifications & Skills :
Proven experience in business development, sales, or client management, preferably within the design-build, construction, or real estate industry.Strong network of industry contacts and ability to develop new relationships.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Ability to analyze market trends and translate insights into actionable strategies.Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and sales reporting software is an asset.Must have a valid BC Drivers License and vehicle.Must be legally able to work in Canada.
