Job Details

As the Lease-Up Property Manager - Residential, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our new development at 88 Bathurst Street, a 312,000 GSF mixed-use project with 307 luxury rental residential units, 55,000 SF of boutique office space, and 26,000 SF of high-end retail.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and support to team members, ensuring each role has the tools and resources to meet and / or exceed their expectations.
  • Provide input into the development of budgets for the property.
  • Meet targeted revenues by setting rent rates and ensuring timely collection of rent and fees.
  • Approve invoices from vendors, contractors, and service providers.
  • Control expenditures by staying within the constraints of the approved budget.
  • Oversee the lease enforcement process.
  • Promote resident satisfaction and retention.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards for maintenance team members.
  • Conduct regular property inspections.
  • Assist in managing the client / owner relationship.
  • Provide leadership to the team by interviewing, hiring, and training team members.
  • Conduct pricing reviews and implement approved strategies.
  • Active involvement in local apartment associations.
  • Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus.
  • Five or more years’ experience as a residential community / property manager.
  • Experience managing a luxury, mixed-use asset.
  • Residential software experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
