TECHNICAL SALES ENGINEER
World Star Tech is a leading manufacturer of laser systems for biomedical, instrumentation, and machine vision applications. We are located in Markham with a modern facility and are currently looking for an enthusiastic, driven and resourceful Technical Sales Engineer.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Pre-sales and post-sales activities, maintaining close technical communication with the customer throughout the sales cycle.
- Research potential clients to maximize the effectiveness of the sales process.
- Actively develop new sales opportunities through a variety of different marketing channels.
- Analyze target markets and identify a prospective business, initiate sales with prospects.
- Assist marketing activities including writing technical articles, newsletters, and case studies.
- Provide technical sales presentations, product training, and technical support to customers.
- Work closely with our engineering team to offer customized solutions and quotations to customers.
- Drive revenue goals with excellent customer satisfaction and experience.
Qualifications
Degree in engineering or technical discipline and experience in technical salesAbility and willingness to travel (1-2 conferences in the US and 1 in Europe)Sales minded, enthusiastic, full of energy and highly flexible.A motivated self-starter who is also a great team player.Understanding of target markets, industry, critical projects, and clients.Have the ability to convert a client’s requirement into suitable business processes.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Canadian Citizen and Resides in the Greater Toronto areaWhat do we offer?
