Position Overview :
The Equipment Operator will work as part of a team to provide superior service and stakeholder satisfaction through responsibility for the safe and efficient operation and preservation of equipment utilized for the purpose of tasks related to Glycol Recovery Vehicles and processing, while ensuring the well-being of self and all internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Including but not limited to) :
Follow established guidelines for equipment operation within close proximity to airfield personnel, aircraft and other airfield equipment without interfering with aircraft movementPromptly collect spent ADF avoiding the risk of fluid escapeProper operation and maintenance of testing equipmentMonitor glycol processing equipment units to assure optimum production and efficiencyPerform quality assurance sampling of all production processes at regular intervals during shifts, by using correct sampling protocol as established by Inland SOP’s and to ensure that all samples are compliant with all written company and Government rules and regulationsRequired Skills and Experience :
Must be at least 18 years oldHigh school diploma or equivalentSuccessful completion of all classroom and on-the-job trainingIntermediate computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPointAbility to read, write, speak and communicate effectively in EnglishAbility to interpret documents including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manualsAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimalsAbility to compute rate, ratio and percentAbility to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situationsAbility to safely operate a motorized vehicle in inclement weatherBasic knowledge of aircraft and how they performGeneral mechanical competence and ability to effectively use hand toolsDriving record that meets Company insurance standardsAbility to maintain a positive, good-natured attitudeAbility to remain calm and perform under pressure and within fixed time constraintsA valid driver’s license is required for this positionRAIC (Restricted Area Identity Card) is preferred

The position involves sitting and standing for extended periods of time as well as bending, kneeling, climbing, using hands to control tools and feel objects, reaching with hands and armsMay be necessary to work at heights up to 40 feetThe ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
