Job description

We’re currently seeking an Accounting Support Clerk to join our provincially funded and regulated clients’ office in Halifax, NS. This is a contract opportunity for several months to support the office during a transitional period.

Key Responsibilities for the Job :

Accounts receivable : invoicing and bank deposits Accounts payable : processing invoices and employee expense claims Tracker and order office and clinical supplies Shipping and receiving of supplies and equipment Other support tasks as required

Experience & Attributes for Success :

Post-secondary education in business, accounting, or administration Previous experience in a similar versatile support role Experience with MS Excel and Great Plains is a definite asset Solid understanding of basic accounting principles Reliable and dependable work ethic Positive and motivated with a team-focused approach High level of flexibility when working with others and positive interpersonal skills
