Lead Java Developer

Position : Lead Java Developer

Location : Montreal QC (3 days a week onsite)

Duration : 12 Months

Role Description :

We have an immediate need in an experienced fullstack developer who is strong in Java and knowledgeable in Angular. Ideal candidates will have an extensive multiyear handson experience an eye for quality and emphasis on details to help our highly motivated agile squads to develop and maintain the next generation distributed platform for one of the most critical business lines of the Firm.

Role and Responsibilities :

Design a highperformance scalable system to support business needs.

Understand business requirements and responsibilities.

Develop and maintain reusable and testable backend and frontend components.

Be an active contributor of an agile squad to build the bestinclass Lending platform.

Required Skills :

15 years of a proven development experience in Java 11 Springboot and RESTful microservices

3 years of frontend webapplications development

Experience in Angular 17 or React and TypeScript Strong knowledge in relational and documentoriented databases such as SQLServer and MongoDB

Great communication skills and experience with client interaction

Optional Skills :

Solid understanding in managed containerized systems on Docker and Kubernetes

Development experience in financial institutions.

Experience in applying modern technologies and patterns.

• Experience in Angular 17+ or React, and TypeScript - Strong knowledge in relational, and document-oriented databases such as SQL-Server and MongoDB - Great communication skills and experience with client interaction
